I have quite a few events scheduled over the next couple months, but the next two in line are:
Miracle City Market Skelebration at Titusville City Hall in Titusville, FL, on October 27th
Melbourne Oddities & Curiosities Market at Riverview Park in Melbourne, FL, on November 16th
Good Guy Gabe is currently stocked at Spellbound Book Store in Sanford, FL, and all my paperbacks are always available for order in my shop!

I've had book releases destroyed by the incompetence of the KDP Support team before, but safe to say:
This was the most destroyed book release I've ever had 😅
It's not banned because of content, although I will say that if they had banned me for content, there are enough content warnings that I wouldn't have argued.
Anyway, the good news is I'm on Ream, and I have made it available for all readers Tiers 2 (Hots & Sweets) and above. It's $5/mo, but with coupon code HOTSYEAR, it's $2/mo for the first year, and you also get the book I wrote out 50 Shades anger and my alien romance that's technically #4 in a series I haven't published yet.

I did it. I made an online store for my paperbacks. You gotta pay for shipping (sorry), but everything will be signed by me, and I made some bundles to bring that cost down. I'm hoping to have bookish merch soon. Everything currently listed as out of stock will be available within the next two weeks. Good Guy Gabe and Christmas Cheer are both in stock (and bundled).
And they are, of course, available on Amazon. I don't get as much for those sales, but they're cheaper for you and arrive way faster, so I totally get it if you go that route. Big hearts either way.

Good Guy Gabe is live! And also not paranormal, not an adaptation, and very much not Amish.
I feel like the best book releases are the most chaotic, so I'm not super upset about it, just cross your fingers for me that I don't have to duke this out with Amazon. They are...hit and miss about fixing issues. Sometimes it's fixed immediately and they pretend like it never happened, sometimes they put you in a customer service hell loop. It's a thing.
What you can expect from Good Guy Gabe is football, quilting, baby trapping, a semi-feral raccoon who is never actually on page but is absolutely the hero of the book, multiple instances of chicken wings, and a poorly executed punch in the dick. What you cannot expect from Good Guy Gabe is ghosts, psychics, or the Amish.

ARC copies of Good Guy Gabe are here!
I've been seriously chugging through this for the last couple of days to get both the proofread and the cover done, but I finally made it, and I'm super happy with how it came out.
I haven't set up the page for Good Guy Gabe on Amazon yet, but this should be going live on July 1, and the pre-order will be available in the next couple days.
Paperbacks WILL be available for Good Guy Gabe. I'm not sure if July 1 will happen for the paperback because I have additional art to do for that and it is *a process*, but I'm aiming for July 15 for that, hopefully earlier.
Either way, ARC copies are available now for anyone interested in reading it for free in exchange for an honest review.
As always, mind the triggers. This is a fairly fluffy book, but everything I write has dark elements, and it is of utmost importance to me that no one ever be inadvertantly hurt by the content of my stories.
April 28th, 2024
I am closing in on the final lines of Good Guy Gabe! (And if you're thinking "Heard that before" about other projects, I assure you, they've already made up. I'm just wrapping up loose ends.) So I've just dropped a form in ARC/beta to sign up to get that first look.
As a beta reader, you'll be provided a copy that's had a single edit pass to clean up continuity issues that have occurred during the evolution that happens in my writing process (as in, I added a new plot line at 50% and a feral raccoon at 75% that need to exist earlier). What I ask in response is for you to give suggestions of areas that need improvements, answer some questions I have for readers, and flag the silly sort of typos that tend to slip through the cracks (wrong names, homophones, etc). It's an easy process, and I promise what you'll get from me is very readable, just slightly flawed.

Okay, the projection from the previous post did NOT pan out, but I did officially finish that draft, it did end up being 107,000 words but I will be editing that down as much as I can because that's just dumb, and the form is up to volunteer to beta or arc. I'm going to be editing next week, but I have a feeling the beta period isn't going to start until late April. We'll see.
January 20th, 2024
The Beta and ARC application is now available for Merciless, the first book in the BBHH: Consummate series. I'm projecting the beta draft to be available the first week of February, the ARC copies by end of February.
This will be a full-length novel of 90,000-100,000 words (325-375 pages). Summary and trigger warnings listed on application.
January 16th, 2024
Is that the first book in the next BBHH series, Consummate? You betcha.
Merciless is mostly drafted as of writing this, with 80,000 of a projected 100,000 down, the final 20,000 outlined. I'm expecting to have it to beta readers by end of month and published in mid-March. If you'd like an early peek at it, though, I am currently posting chapters over on Vella and will have the entire story published by early February.
Yes, this is big breeder energy, just like Roulette, but Consummate will follow a group of "securities agents" (read: mercenaries who turned it into a billion-dollar agency) who do work for good people but certainly aren't morally upstanding or respectful of the law. Merciless follows Elliott, a torture-loving, internet-hacking sociopath, who buys Ione to be his lover and give him children and expects 100% obedience from her.
And immediately becomes obsessed with her, because that's what we're here for.

Christmas Cheer is available for pre-order!
To go live on . . . December 28th, because Amazon still hates me and is why I can't have nice things. Also, bookspry swears it's not in the dungeon, but it is absolutely not coming up in searches. idk. Possibly for the same reason I can't release it until the 28th.
In typical me fashion, it was meant to be a prequel novella to a pro football romance series I'll be launching next year, but it's basically novel length. All the usual triggers you'd expect from big breeder vibes.

Holly Jolly Cake Fight is Live!
I've also got one more project I'm rushing to get out this year, something more on brand for me, but I'll have more details in the next couple weeks. In the meantime, enjoy some spicy Christmas rom-com.
October 2nd, 2023
Double Down is live!
Double Down is book 3 in the Roulette series and, despite following a different couple, cannot be read as a stand-alone. Or, there's going to be a lot of stuff that feels half-assed explained because the explanations are in the first two books.
Anyhoo, same trigger warnings as last time, and fair warning: this guy's darker.
August 27th, 2023
Holly Jolly Cake Fight has an official cover and a release date of November 15th, 2023. I've done some edits to get it something closer to my spice level, but it'll always a be a slow burn and it'll always be a Christmas baking romance. This will absolutely be the most anti-dark thing I ever write under this pen name.
Yes, I just turned the Vella image into an ornament for the cover. It wasn't my initial plan, but no one liked that plan except me and everyone was super excited about this. Since I'm not selling my book to myself, I figured everyone else's opinion was more important than mine.
I am currently accepting applications for beta readers! You can find the beta link on the ARC/beta page or go directly to the application here.
July 4th, 2023
It's been a way longer time coming than I initially planned, but Holly Jolly Cake Fight is completed on Kindle Vella.
I started this way back in 2019. 2018? 2017? *Logs into Wattpad for the first time this decade* okay, 2018. It was my attempt to write a clean Christmas romance. I cannot possibly explain to you why I thought I needed to do this and, spoiler alert, it's not clean. It is a slow burn though, and fairly vanilla, and my brain think of that as clean.
Anyway, I had it nearly finished and dusted it off and figured there were only two (actually four because of who I am as a writer) scene left to write, so I was absolutely positive I'd be able to have it entirely published in winter 2023.
Um, happy Christmas in July, y'all. Also yes, I will be editing to print for Christmas 2023, if Vella's not your jam.

All In is live!
This has been a crazy month. I hit that bestseller tag for a couple hours, I had the Top New Release for a *hot minute*, I relearned affinity to make a paperback, I got my tiktok up and running, and, oh yeah, I finished up All In (and also Holly Jolly Cake Fight's Vella draft!).
I'm about to have another crazy month getting Double Down drafted. So it's been a big relief that this guy's out in the world and I can move on to the next project.
Also, yes, still dungeoned.
June 26th, 2023
House Rules is now in paperback! Since it's a short story and I hate tiny paperbacks, I also included A Hotwife's Holiday Studs. It's a different kink, but they are making babies and it does include a character that you'll see again in All In, so I think it was a good bonus.
June 18th, 2023
I have a TikTok! You can find me over there @CBAliceAuthor. I have no idea what I'm doing yet, and idk why nothing comes out how I set it up, but I'll get there? Hopefully?
June 15th, 2023
The pre-order link is now up for Double Down, Book 3 in the Rouolette series. This is the book that will explain the whole Luke/Addison thing. No fancy image yet because it's, erm, not written yet?
Also yes, it is in the dungeon. Sigh.
June 12th, 2023
Perma-dungeoned. IDK. I've tried basically everything. I've changed the series title, I've rewritten the blurbs, I've scrubbed the keywords, I've even removed the series logo from the book covers. I'm not really sure what's left.
The dungeon isn't a terrible thing. It just means that I need to be more pro-active about sharing links on social media and, loathe as I am to say it, I'll need to start the paperbacks early so they're more searchable on Amazon. The important thing here is you can still get House Rules and All In is still slated to go live on July 1st on Amazon and KU.
